Hello and welcome!
I come to the field of psychotherapy through a wider commitment to community health, social justice and political engagement and in my practice I offer the space to challenge, confront, and reimagine who we are and what we can be. Taking seriously the riotous call offered by Angela Davis that “I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept” (Angela Y. Davis) grounds my practice in action, understanding, and resistance. Through utilizing mindfulness and somatic based approaches that bring us into our in-the-moment bodily experience I offer all of my clients the opportunity to engage meaningfully with their histories of pain as we plan for a better tomorrow.
